Aims To improve the quality of life of our service users by helping them understand the causes of their problems and develop skills to enable them to deal with these problems more effectively. 
For Whom Adults aged between 18 and 65 who live in the Redcar & Cleveland area and are registered with a GP. 
Services Short term individual therapy (average 6 to 8 weeks) for mild to moderate mental health problems; depression, anxiety, abnormal grief, trauma, etc. The service is involved in pioneering pilot initiatives; depression screening clinics and depression management classes, as well as providing training for primary care professionals. Therapy is by appointment at GP practices across Redcar & Cleveland PCT and other venues. 
How to Contact Referrals via GP, practice nurse, health visitor. A primary health professionals phone in service for queries regarding referrals is in place on Monday morning.
