Our Mission Statement

Redcar & Cleveland Mind recognises the value of people with experience of mental distress and wishes to listen to and learn from them. We seek to foster and enable user consultation and participation in the planning and delivery of mental health services.

Redcar & Cleveland Mind Quality Statement

Redcar & Cleveland Mind recognises that having Quality Standards reflects our commitment to adopting and maintaining best practice within the mental health community and promoting continuous improvement throughout the organisation.

National Mind Quality Standards and Investors in People (IIP) have been developed in such a way that they are supported and monitored by a number of carefully selected, measurable critical success factors that ensure the organisation's goals and key business objectives are continuing to be met and maintained.

Our quality systems form a sound framework within which we have established the capability of readily and effectively identifying opportunities for improvement and growth through striving to identify value-added solutions and providing the means to ensure each of our valued stakeholders remain fully satisfied with the service that they have requested, and that their needs and expectations have been fully and satisfactorily met.

Together, we are dedicated to assessing all aspects of our organisation with a view to identifying any opportunities that will enable us to improve and enhance our methods, operations, procedures and practices as and when they materialise, thus ensuring we have the capability of continuing to meet and surpass our commitment towards providing total customer satisfaction.

Support & Information Service (Redcar)

Open access support and information sessions for company, support and varied activities from a programme based on service user preferences each season.

Opening Times:

We are open 6 days a week (except Bank Holidays).

Support & Information Service (East Cleveland)

Open access support and information sessions for company, support and varied activities from a programme based on service user preferences each season.

Open at the following places and times:

  • Skelton Civic Hall, Coniston Road, Skelton - Monday 10-4 NB: there is a walking group from 1pm onwards so please ring beforehand to see where the walk starts. 
  • Saltburn Outreach, 23a Diamond Street, Saltburn - Tuesday 10-4
  • Saltburn Outreach, 23a Diamond Street, Saltburn - Wednesday 10-4
  • Saltburn Outreach, 23a Diamond Street, Saltburn - Thursday 12-6
  • Saltburn Outreach, 23a Diamond Street, Saltburn - Friday 10-4
  • Saltburn Outreach, 23a Diamond Street, Saltburn - Saturday 10-4
