Aims Dyslexia Action is a national charity that aims to improve the lives of people with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties through education. 
For Whom Dyslexia Action is a provider of services and support for people with dyslexia and literacy difficulties. It provides services and support to children, adults, parents, educational institutions and employers. 
Services The Darlington Centre offers: Free advice; Screening and assessments for individuals, schools and other educational institutions; Specialist literacy and numeracy tuition for children and adults; Individual Learning Package for learners unable to attend the centre; Courses, including study skills, story writing and Edexcel Adult Literacy & Numeracy; Training and Consultancy for schools and employers; Awareness talks for parents and other interested people. Please note that services are chargeable. The Centre offers support and services for Darlington and surrounding areas and also has as Outpost in Stockton.
