Using The Good Mind Guide

Introduction

The Good Mind Guide has the details of many services in the Tees area available to the people of Redcar & Cleveland.  You can look through alphabetical lists of organisations both in the whole guide and each section, or you can search the Guide for an organisation

Visual design

This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout as a means of broadening the sites accessibility. Users with visual disabilities should find it easy to increase font sizes, as site uses only relative font sizes compatible with the user-specified "text size" option in visual browsers such as Internet Explorer. If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the content of each page is still readable in the normal way.

Viewing Organisations and Services

To find the organisation you are looking for, click on a button on the left which best matches the category of the services you want. A list of all the organisations providing the service will appear on the page.

The list has the name of the organisation, the town that the organisation is based in and the aims of the organisation. Look through the list until you have found the organisation which provides the services you want, then click on the name of the organisation. You will be taken to a contact sheet which gives more information about the services offered, which areas are covered by the organisation and also the contact information.

You can view all of the organisations listed in the Good Mind Guide, by clicking on the 'A-Z Index Organisations' button in the upper left of the screen. A list of all the organisations in the Guide will appear. To view more information about the organisation, simply click on the organisation's name.

Searching the Guide

You can search the Good Mind Guide in two ways, either by searching all of the records in the guide, or by searching within specific categories.

Searching All of The Guide

You can search all of the organisations in the Good Mind Guide by clicking on the 'A-Z Index Organisations' button on the top left of the screen, then click on the 'Search this table' tab.

There are three search boxes that you can use.  Enter the name of the organisation you want to find, the town in which you want to find the organisation or the services which you wish to find, then press the 'Submit' button.

For example, if you wanted to find an organisation which offered mental health services you would type 'mental health' into the Services box, then press the Submit button.

A list of organisations matching your criteria will appear in a list below the search box.

Searching a Category

You can search any of the categories listed on the left by clicking on the category, then clicking on the 'Search this section' tab.

There are three search boxes that you can use.  Enter the name of the organisation you want to find, the town in which you want to find the organisation or the services which you wish to find, then press the 'Submit' button. 

For example, if you wanted to find the 'Redcar & Cleveland Mind' organisation in the 'Adult Services' section, you would click the 'Adult Services' button on the left-hand navigation panel, then click on the 'Search this section' tab.  Type 'Redcar & Cleveland Mind' into the Organisation box then press the Submit button.
